Capital Campaign Donation from Mt. Pisgah Church
Capital Campaign Donation from Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church
In the picture above left to right are: Ben Bethea (Mt. Pisgah), Elista Smith (Capital Campaign Finance Committee), Randy Floyd (library trustee), Ulysses Sweeney (Mt. Pisgah), Salley Davidson (library director), Bobby Davis (Mt. Pisgah), and Al Blake (Chair, Capital Campaign Finance Committee).

The gentlemen from Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Marion presented their church’s gift in the amount of $1,200.00 to the library’s Capital Campaign expansion project.  After a tour of the Marion Library and chats with some of the patrons using the library, they expressed the hope that other churches in the county would joint with them and support the library’s expansion project.

I Love My Public Library
"Reading is the beginning of your future.  If one can read well, then success is a surety.  Libraries are also important due to the fact that they are accessible for all people: young and old, rich or poor.  Books can open imaginations that can lead to careers not seen in our local areas."
