Who can borrow?
Residents of Marion County, SC may apply for a library card at any branch of the Marion County Library System. Please bring your SC driver’s license or identification card or other proof of residence such as a rental agreement, personal check, or business mail.
Children are eligible for a library card in their own name at birth. Please see our Circulation Policy or ask a staff member for more details on children’s library cards.
Cardholders in good standing with our partners in the Palmetto Library Consortium may borrow materials.
Non-residents may pay a fee of $10 for a library card with borrowing privileges.

Renew Books Online
The Marion County Library System utilizes an automatic renewal system. This means that all circulating materials are automatically renewed until the item reaches the maximum number of renewals or the item is returned.
