The South Carolina State Library has opened its newest educational website to the public. StudySC is a website that provides online content to support South Carolina-specific curriculum standards. StudySC, created by the South Carolina State Library, makes available a student-friendly environment arranged by grade level and by subject area where students can find the information they need fast.
This site is loaded with South Carolina-specific web resources for K-12 homework help, projects, and more. StudySC will also provide teachers with lesson plans and other content to support classroom activities.

Ever wondered what an atlatl was? How about a scalawag? Now you can look up South Carolina-related words in StudySC's brand new glossary! Students can find definitions for terms and concepts like the Upcountry, soybean, or boycott.

South Carolina Book Awards
StudySC now features the 2010-2011 South Carolina Book Awards hosted by the South Carolina Association of School Librarians. This section features the latest book award nominees in a kid-friendly environment, showcasing the content created by SCASL members, a picture of each book, and vetted web links to added content.
